Weekend in Maine

We had a great time in Maine.  It was great to spend time together after being apart for so long.  It was also a great surprise!!  

We went to York, ME.  We stayed at the cozy York Harbor Inn!!

We mostly wanted

 to relax and just hang out together.  But, we did get out and see some sites.  

There is this old fort that has been turned in to a park.  It was really cute.  Nothing famous or spectacular.  But, it was perfect for a nice walk and some great photos.

We also went shopping at the kittery outlet malls.  No offense to my handsome hubby, but he needed a serious wardrobe update!  It was really fun making him try on clothes!  Of course, I also shopped for ME too!  

Then we got dressed up in our new threads and went back to the inn for dinner!  We were in Maine so we needed to have some of the things that the area is known for.  For dinner we had a seafood spread, which included some yummy lobster.  For dessert we had supper sweet blueberry pie!

The next day was check out day, bummer!  All good things must come to an end and fabulous weekends are no exception!  Before we left we took a cliff walk that our innkeeper suggested.  I was gorgeous!  There was one more thing that photographer in me needed to see...the famous Nibble Light.

I'm no professional...but I really enjoyed shooting the lighthouse.  It was a beautiful day too!
