I made it!!

Well, it's been long and hard at times but its almost over!! Will FINALLY gets home tomorrow. Incase you have been lucky enough escape my endless whimpering, Will has been working in California for the ENTIRE month of March. I feel that I need to thank and apologize to the husbands whose wives went missing several times during the month. It was hard to be without Will, however, I was rarely lonely. All of my friends have been so great. I have shopping dates, dinner invitations, and I had a visit from mom and sisters! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong...I had my moments. There were many sleepless nights with tear soaked pillows.
This experience has taught me a few things about Will, our relationship and myself:

  • I really can't live without him!
  • I can get around this big bad city by myself.
  • Will does SO much more around the house than I realized. Thanks Babe!
  • I missed being in control of the remote.
  • I miss the the things that used to drive me crazy!
  • I can get so much done when he is not around to distract me.
  • I want him around to distract me.
  • He takes really good care of me.
  • I don't sleep well when I can't feel his breath on my neck (when we first got married that drove me nuts!)
  • He is my best friend!
  • I have met some really great people here that have become very special to me.
  • I am loved.
  • I love Will even more than I thought I could.
OK. That's enough of that!
Time for bed.

Fun, Fun and more Fun!!!

Hi everyone! Well, Will is still gone. (sad face with a pouty lip) I have less than a week until he gets home!!! I can't wait to see him again. This is gonna sound super mushy...I like to hang out with him. I love playing games and going shopping or just sitting on the couch. Being with him is the best feeling in the world and I miss him. OK. I'm done!
In Will's absence, my fabulous sisters and Mom came to visit me! This was Mama and April's first visit to Boston! I think that it is safe to say that everyone had a good time. They flew in on Thursday night and I took them to one of our favorite restaurants, Kowloon's! It's a great Asian place. Then we went home to hang out and make plans for the weekend. We started Friday with a yummy breakfast. I made everyone omelets with their choice of ingredients. The photo to the left is us all ready to go. Amanda, Me, April, and Mom (Candy). We had to dress warm. It was beautiful out but still really cold.

First Stop: Salem, MA

There is tons to see in Salem. Witch Museums, historical sites, and homes of famous writers. That was a plug to get people to visit me...shameless, I know!
We bought a postcards for Jake and Hunter and mailed them from Salem!
After much walking and lots of picture taking, we drove back to my apartment where we waited for the bus to take us downtown.

We shopped and eat until dark and then headed home!! We were totally beat so we hung out for awhile and then went to bed. We went back to Boston on Saturday to see Fenway Park(I'm fanatical about baseball) and then all of the other must sees.

The Old North Church...

Occasionally there is a fresh market downtown!!! Produce, fish, and meats, all kinds of good stuff!

And of course, we want to the Temple. For all you South East Texans, it probably looks a lot like the Houston Temple.
We went lots of other places too...but I think that this post has gone on long enough!! It was sooooo great to have my family here. We are super close and the distance is driving us all crazy. Plus, it was nice to have company while Will was away.

A short little walk through my world!

HI!!!

WOW!! It's been awhile. Even though I haven't been posting I have still been reading. I want to thank you all for continuing to provide me with entertainment. You have all been great!

Let me catch you up on all of our craziness!

My birthday was February 9th. I'm the big 26!!! Yay! It was a work day so we didn't go out. Will, being the fabulous man that he is, cleaned up the apartment and made me dinner. My parents, sisters and friends sent cards and packages! It was a really great day.

Our first Valentine's Day was perfect! Oddly enough it wasn't just our first married V-Day but our first V-Day ever. I wasn't looking forward to the commercial banter that surrounds this day. We decided to customize the holiday to fit us. No last minute running around for gifts and all that other pressure. We did a movie day! It was so great. Will brought me breakfast in bed and we gave each other cards and then it was off to the theater. We watched movies all day. The best Valentine's day EVER!

Ok...where are we now??? Oh right, I'm home alone. Will is on deployment. He will be gone the entire month of March. We are doing ok so far. Ok...We are terrible. I'm a nervous wreck. I was never a worrier. I used to just roll with the flow. Now I have this person that means more to me than I ever thought possible. I had no idea that love could torture a person so. I had a few days that I couldn't eat or sleep. Thats getting better though. We will get though it and he will be home before I know it! While he is away my totally cool friends are taking great care of me. We have had parties and gone shopping. They are all so great! My Mama and my sisters are coming to see to me in a few weeks to keep me company. I'm sooooo excited!! Amanda has been here once but Mama and April haven't. I can't wait to be with them again. We are very close and this distance is kinda tuff. Fun Fun Fun

Ok thats all for now!! I will be a better blogger, I promise.

P.S. If you guys could say a prayer or two for Will. Maybe one for me too!
